An explainer video that cuts through the noise of product information management. Built to make a complex platform feel obvious to buyers who have never heard of PIM.

The Challenge

Inriver offers product information management, product data syndication, and digital shelf analytics in one platform. That's a lot to explain to someone who may have never heard of PIM.

The challenge was creating broad appeal. Different audiences with different levels of PIM experience all needed to understand the message. And we had to balance explanation with engagement: enough detail to be credible, not so much that viewers lost the thread.

The Solution

We went with the most direct approach. Once the script balanced the Inriver story with key benefits, the concept took form quickly. In the final video, the chaos of product cards engages the viewer and creates the perfect opening for Inriver to become the solution. That moment is followed by a focused overview of Inriver's most compelling capabilities, wrapped up with a statement only they can deliver: "say goodbye to data chaos."

Most of what appears on screen was created from scratch based on Inriver's new brand identity. Limited existing assets meant we built the visual system alongside the narrative.

The Result

A short explainer that makes a complex platform feel obvious. Prospects who have never encountered PIM leave the video understanding both the problem and why Inriver is the fix.

The video launched alongside Inriver's rebrand, giving their marketing team a polished, on-brand asset to lead with across web, outbound, and events.
